Materials include blueprints, budget items, correspondence, memoranda, plans for projected construction and renovation of campus facilities, and photographs. The mission of the North Carolina State University Facilities Division has historically been to "create and preserve a physical environment that advances the university." Key projects of the Facilities Division during the period covered by the collection included the development of NCSU's Centennial Campus, making the campus more accessible to disabled persons; renovation of Bragaw and Holladay Halls as well as Reynolds Coliseum; new construction on D. H. Hill Library; repairs to parking decks; and management of various outlying real properties.
